Quick help

  1. Open a sheet, choose Black, Gray, or Eraser, then tap the shapes you want to color. Use Undo or Redo to revise your picture. There is no timer and no required solution.
  2. Hint shows optional dots for one authored picture. You can ignore them, hide them, or turn on Symbol markers in Options so gray clues use rings.
  3. When you finish, choose Watch your steps to hear your coloring played as a short piano piece. The melody follows your path and pace; check the device volume and silent switch if you hear nothing.
  4. On iPhone or iPad, choose Save picture or Save video to add the requested item to Photos; iOS asks permission first. Gray Matter does not read existing Photos, files, or videos.
  5. If a shape or clue looks small, pinch to zoom, touch and hold for the magnifier, or increase marker size in Options.
  6. Use the device volume to adjust piano playback. In Options, turn off Sound effects or Haptics as needed. To reduce motion, open Motion in Options and choose Reduced.
  7. Progress and preferences stay on your device and are not synced to an account. Choose Erase all progress in Options or delete Gray Matter to reset app data. Delete saved items from Photos separately. A device backup may retain a copy until you remove that backup.

Your pictures and progress stay on your device.
