Draw a pixel smile. Change its colors or invent a new face.

What you learn

Pixels are little squares that make a picture.

Edit your program and press Run. Gold highlights the running instruction. Pause, Step and Undo step help you understand. There is no time limit.

Example program

color("blue");
right(1); down(2); paint();
right(4); paint();
home(); down(5); right(1);
color("pink");
repeat(6) { paint(); right(1); }
home(); down(4); right(1); paint();
right(5); paint();

Make it your own

Change repeat to run the instructions inside { } several times. In tap, memory and quiz games, if checks a choice; else runs when the condition is false. In pixel art, color chooses a color and paint fills one square; movement commands change the pen position. Shows use pose, say and beat to change actors, speech and notes.

Download the program to play offline. Only nicknames and progress are stored in your browser; programs and answers are not saved.
